lets get started: In the beginning

Ok we will start with a bit of background, I feel I should add in here that I am by no means an expert on all things Howard but I will try to give an insight, I knew him for the last 11 years of his life, in that time we were lovers and companions for 7 years and kindred spirits throughout, we went on many adventures together and discussed all manor of topics, we were mutual confidents and advisors for each other, He changed my life for the better and it will not be the same without his physical presence.

Howards Mum and Dad

Baby Howard

Howards Mother, Maria, was a very special lady from the Bardi mountains area of Italy, her family, as partisans, fatefully took in Howards Father, F L Rippingale MBE, flight lieutenant RAFVR and SOE , as a prisoner of war escapee in 1943, at great risk to themselves, he went on to fight along side them until the end of WW2, Love sparkled between them and when peace time finally came they were to be united in marriage and settled in orpinton in kent.
Howard was the first born of 2 Sons, which they loved very much and strived to provide the best for.

Howard regaled me with many funny and interesting stories of family life and the difficulties he faced when he went to Brighton college for boys, as a border and being half Italian it was not easy and in hindsight he felt it all helped shaped his strength of character and rebellious nature!
Howards father was keen for his sons to do well and have the best available education and he encouraged Howard to go on to study  surveying, which he did, however once he had graduated he found it was not to his taste or suited to his free spirited, adventurous personality.

Howard had an immense thirst for knowledge and studied a great many things, he told me that he had wanted to know everything there was to know in life, he had read and researched a libraries worth of books and his favoured areas were archaeology, music, philosophy, mathematics, electricity, science, diving, treasure hunting, nature and the occult sciences.
He was an exceptional guitar player, self tutored, he loved Jazz and great guitarists such as Joe satrianni, Gary moore, Uli Jon Roth, Steve vai and many more.

The subjects he studied and knowledge he gleaned lead him to question the stayed norms of our western culture and delve deeper into lifes mysteries to answer the unknowns and unconquered, one area in particular that he was captured by was gravity, it spoke to his soul and he was keen to decipher its realms and hoped to contribute to its unravelling.

The works of Nikola Tesla, Schauberger, Einstein, Newton, Keely, Wilhelm Reich, Viktor schauberger, Zecharia Sitchen, Viktor Grabenikov, Ouspensky and many other less well known people fed his own inquiring mind and sparked ideas for experiments.

His favoured fields of study were the occult and spiritual studies in a quest to access the akashic records to gain assistance and guidance with his inventions, the zero point field and dark matter, ether theories, black holes, quantum theory, vibrations of sound and the shapes they make, his studies lead him to draw the conclusion that many of the answers lay in nature and within all of us if we were only to look in the right places!

The apparent chaos and random springing fourth of nature seems to repeat paturns over and over on large and small scales, from the fractals, frost and the bronchia in the lungs to the ariel photography of rivulets and coast lines.

A life time of study and mastery would lead Howard through an active interest in treasure hunting, both on land and under water, a highlight being when he and his friends found the wreck of the brazen and donated their finds to the Newhaven maritime museum, commercial diving and dive related consultancies and inventions, boat restoration and fitting out, dowsing both in practise and the making of his own designed dowsing rods, inventing and experimenting with fringe sciences, travel around Englands sacred sites (particularly in Cornwal and sussex) Among many other more casual jobs to keep him afloat, eventually through the synchronicities of life he was guided to effectively  repair the female line at Avebury stone circle on 16/07/11.

Please look to the pages for in depth descriptions and accounts of Howards many interests and exploits!
