13 years of missing

 

So many things have come and gone in the ladt 13 years. 

How different those lows would have been with your rock like strength and the way you always knew what to say and how to make the best of a bad situation.

The high points would have been all the brighter shared in your physical presence.

Alas that was not as the universe deigned your life to be.

But in spirit you still whisper and vast are the pearls of wisdom you imbued into my psyche that I still live by. 

So with acceptance and love I think of you, today especially, but in truth every day echoes of your voice and laughter ring through my mind.

Happy birthday to your earthly body, i hope you are having a wonderful time in the ethereal, i know such days mean little once we have passed into the realms of the eternal soul, but it is a time your loved ones still here think of you a little more and miss you more as well.

Be sure to drop in on katey Lauren and Mary at ginos this evening, they will be dining and raising a glass in you're memory
